Water Strider is a 3D model of Gerridae which is a species of family of insects in the order Hemiptera, commonly known as water striders, water scooters, water skeeters, water bugs, pond skaters, water skippers, water skimmers or puddle flies.

The Water Strider insect, also known as a pond skater, is a remarkable creature that glides on the surface of water bodies. Its long, slender legs have tiny hairs that repel water, allowing it to stay afloat. These insects are carnivorous and use their sensitive front legs to detect vibrations from struggling prey on the water's surface. With remarkable agility, they distribute their weight effectively, preventing them from breaking the water's tension and sinking.
For water insects, insects science, Earth zoo fauna, entomology science, zoology museums, biology, forestry, insect animals, school biology education, biology museums, zoological science, and study of water type insects promotional projects.

Water Strider is a high quality, photo real 3d model that will enhance detail and realism to any of your rendering projects.
