A .243 deer rifle with scope, modeled after one that I own. All materials are (Maya) procedural except for a couple of bump, spec and transparency maps (.tif - 1024) that add a bit of detail, so the wood texture for example looks good at any distance. UVs do not share texture space for objects that share shaders.

The scope can be looked through, as there is a glass shader applied to the openings of it and it has interior geometry. The refractive index on the glass has been adjusted so that it mimics magnification. The bolt, safety, and trigger all move properly so they can be animated. A bullet file is included, no need to buy separately (353 poly).

For your convenience, in addition to the clean model file, a file with the lighting setup I used is included (hdr lighting in mental ray, .hdr map not included, you can plug in your own easily).

The model is set to real world scale, it measures 105 cm (the bullet is 7cm). A smooth has been applied to the appropriate surfaces, but can be turned off and/or deleted. There is a switch on the root that allows all to be turned on/off at once. Poly count is without smooth applied. Poly count with smooth is 13410 faces and 13417 verts.

I try to keep the scene cleaned up with all nodes named for the sake of clarity.
