The Merkava Mk.4 was adopted by the Israeli army in 2004 and is currently the main battle tank. In 2010, according to many reputable publishers, the tank was recognized as the best in the world. The model differs from its predecessors by the presence of the 120 mm cannon, a spring suspension, modified armor and much more other modifications.
