If you need a file format that is different from what is available, please submit a conversion request using our online request form.
Although most conversions can be done free of charge, there are some limitations to our free conversion services, including (but not limited to):
Conversion services are only available post-purchase.
In order to assist all members in a timely fashion, we must limit conversions to 5 models per week per individual. Please note that if you submit more than 5 requests in one week or create multiple accounts in an attempt to bypass this limitation, TurboSquid reserves the right to defer those additional conversions to a subsequent eligibility period.
Free models and model collections are not eligible for free conversion services.
Rendering consists of transferring a 3d mesh to a 2d image. This is a different process from conversion and is not provided through our free conversion service.
If you are working on a tight deadline, please note that we convert models on a first come, first served basis and work through our queue as quickly as possible. It is very helpful if you can let us know your deadline upon submitting your request so that we can prioritize requests. Additionally, product pages indicate the file formats available for each model. Collections are also not eligible for these conversion services.
If you have questions about a particular product, please contact TurboSquid Support to request more information. Sometimes, depending on the product and format, a conversion is difficult or impossible. If so, a support agent will be happy to assist you and to help you find a product that will work best for your project.
For FBX format conversions, you can specify requirements such as inclusion of standard materials when submitting a request. Providing such details helps streamline the process and ensures the final format meets your needs.
