Pteranodon was a giant, toothless flying reptile (not a dinosaur) with a large wingspan, a long bony crest, and a diet of fish. They had hollow, bird-like bones and leathery, feathered wings that allowed them to glide over large bodies of water. Male Pteranodon were significantly larger than females and had large, prominent crests, while females had smaller, triangular crests.
