Hello guys! It’s been a while, and I’m here to share a new fictional ship I’ve created. Some of you might have seen the BALLS (Battle Assault Littoral Laser Ship) featured as an April Fool's joke by Western OSINT accounts and naval news outlets covering the Chinese military this past April 1st. In fact, this fictional battleship of mine was inspired by that very concept.

The specifications for this fictional battleship are as follows:

• - Length: 317m
• - Beam: 33.5m
• - Draft: 8–9m
• - Max Speed: 30 knots
• - Armament:
• - 6 x Twin Railguns
• - 4 x HHQ-10A
• - 4 x Type H/PJ-1130 CIWS
• - 4 x 40mm Autocannons
• - 200 VLS cells
• - 2 Large Helicopters
• - Displacement: Over 50,000t

For this project, the simple design and the reuse of weapon assets I had previously made for the Type 055 destroyer allowed me to drastically reduce production time. I also managed to significantly optimize the model, cutting the vertex count from 430,000 down to 304,000. This made the rendering process much smoother. I plan to continue reducing unnecessary vertices and edges in the future. Regardless, this was a fun project to work on, especially since it was completed much faster than expected.

P.S.I am currently in the early stages of developing an original universe, drawing inspiration from Ace Combat and various other IPs. Because of its massive scale, I'm not sure when it will be ready for reveal, but this ship will definitely be a part of that world.
