BD1901 Motor Rotor Commutator Assembly Machine The rotor commutator includes a cylindrical insulating base, a commutator, and a mica sheet. The commutator is fixed on the rotor through the inner hole of the cylindrical insulating base, and the commutator is along the circumference. The mica sheet is installed between the adjacent commutating segments to play an insulating role in the annular mounting groove installed on the outer peripheral surface of the insulating base.
When working, the rotor commutator rotates with the rotor, and as the commutator rotates, the connection relationship between the corresponding commutator segments and the fixed brushes of each winding is changed, thereby changing the current direction of each winding and ensuring the magnetic force direction of the magnetic field generated by the rotor winding. The annular installation groove of the insulating base of the existing commutator usually adopts a dovetail groove, and the bottom of the commutator segment is a dovetail.
The mica sheet realizes its axial bidirectional limit fixation and radial inward limit fixation through the insulating base, and realizes the radially outward limit fixation with two adjacent commutation segments through the cooperation of the inclined planes. In order to facilitate the installation of the commutator segment, an opening is usually provided on one side wall of the dovetail slot of the insulating base. During assembly, the commutator segment and the mica segment are inserted into the dovetail slot axially through the opening, and then inserted into the dovetail slot in the circumferential direction. Slide it into place, and finally close the opening with a stopper to complete the assembly of the commutator.
However, for the rotor commutator of high-speed motors such as automobile starter motors, due to the high speed, generally more than 20,000 rpm, the dovetail groove structure is used to install the commutator, which is easy to cause the commutator to fly at high speed. .
