A high resolution model of a Fangtooth fish.
-----------------------------------------------
5 versions are included:
FBX and OBJ:
For use in most software. The shaders are not included, but documentation about them is included so they can be replicated easier and so textures can be connected correctly. The textures use a traditional non-pbr workflow.
Blender (2):
A version for each renderer. Fully shaded and textured, ready for render. Preview images were done with the blender internal version.
Maya:
For Maya 2018, using the Arnold renderer. The objects don't need to be smoothed before render as they use the renderer's subdivision system.
------------------------------------------------
It comes with 3 materials:
- Main material
- Teeth
- Eyes outer shells
------------------------------------------------
It includes 6 textures (4096 x 4096):
----- 4 basic ones:
- color (contains an alpha channel for fins and teeth transparency)
- specularity
- displacement (for the main body and the teeth of the fish, 6 subdivision levels)
- subsurface scattering (SSS)
----- 2 alternative ones:
- fins translucence: helps give a stronger translucency to the fins when light comes from behind the fish. Useful depending on the renderer used, if the SSS is not working well enough for that effect.
- normal map: as an alternative to the displacement map, for faster render or use as a lower res model.
