Alkylosaurus of Tropical Habitat Rigged for Maya is a three-dimensional model of Ankylosaurus, a genus of herbivorous dinosaurs from the Late Cretaceous period, which was characterized by its heavily armored body and a distinctive clubbed tail.

Ankylosaurus, a genus of armored dinosaur, inhabited the Late Cretaceous period. Its name translates to 'fused lizard,' denoting its heavy bony armor. This quadrupedal herbivore sported a wide, low body covered in bony plates and possessed a formidable tail club, likely used in defense. Despite its herbivorous diet, its robust build and armor served as protection against predators.
