Single Hung window with 2x2 grid pattern and symbolic lines for plan view. Width and Height are adjusted by type. Casing is modeled on the interior, but this can be turned off "by type". The window frame finish is set to "by category", but can also be modified. The window uses a type catalog to load types into the project. This helps to keep the project uncluttered. There is a parameter called "Default Head Height" that controls the insertion height. As with all windows the insertion height is an instance parameter that can be modified after insertion. Setting the default insertion height by the window head, (instead of the sill), makes it easier to coordinate windows with the head height of doors. This also makes it easier to insert windows from the plan view. The type catalog sets all of the types with a Default Head Height of 7"-0", but it is easy to modify the type catalog for whatever insertion height standard is desired, (i.e. 6"-8" or 8"-0"). The Default Head Height parameter can also be changed in the project environment once the window is loaded.
