The maya scene file is from maya v6, has partial polygons and partial nurbs construction. All surfaces are textured using photographs with a technique called photo-based modeling making this a very good tutorial for blending film and 3D effects together. All animation was done with non-linear deformers, keyframing and some dynamics. It is a very action scene of a monster coming up thru a whole in the wooden floor. All textures and shaders are included making this a fully fast rendering scene directly after opening it. There are two cameras, one lock down to match with the film plate, and another is moving around to see everything from different angles.
