The AGM-114L Longbow Hellfire is a precision strike missile using Millimeter Wave (MMW) radar guidance. It is the principal anti-tank system for the AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter. This particular variant of the Hellfire family uses the same anti-armor warhead as the Hellfire II. The MMW seeker provides beyond-line-of-sight, fire-and-forget capability, as well as the ability to operate in adverse weather and battlefield obscurants.

The M299 Longbow missile launcher is a four rail system design to carry and release the AGM-144 Hellfire missile. The M299 is integrated in a variety of attack helicopters such as the AH-64 Apache, AH-1 Cobra, OH-58, UH-60 & MH-60 family and Eurocpter Tigre.
