ScratchFX Virticle Axis Wind Turbine. The Low Polygon model is optimized. Add a mesh smooth for higher resolution. All polygon meshes are formed as closed solids, with no open seams. The Wind Turbine has a clean UV layout so you can add your custom textures if you like.

The Maya Scene file can be rendered through the Wind Turbine Camera. This scene file has been rendered with Mental Ray so make sure to enable Mental Ray in your plugins window. The Wind Turbine has two materials attached to it and is also rigged. The Wind turbine has been animated over 100 frames and can be looped. Use the Arrow Curve Controller to animated the rotation of the blades. All other files are only the standard static high and low Polygon meshes.

The 3DS MAX 2009 Scene files are not setup to be rendered and do not have materials attached. They have only the standard high and low polygon meshes.

Each file format has the high and low polygon meshes.
