The Messerschmitt Bf 109, often called Me 109, was a German WWII fighter aircraft designed during the early to mid-1930s. It was one of the first truly modern fighters of the era, including such features as all-metal monocoque construction, a closed canopy, a retractable landing gear, and was powered by a liquid-cooled, inverted-V12 aero engine. Through constant development, the Bf 109 remained competitive with the latest Allied fighter aircraft until the end of the war.
The Bf 109G, or 'Gustav' , was introduced in mid-1942. Its initial variants (G-1 through G-4) differed only in minor details from the Bf 109F, most notably in the more powerful DB 605 engine.
The G14 was an attempt to standardize the changes introduced in the late G6 (more powerful engine, larger wheels, tall rudder, Erla canopy), waiting for the G-10 still in development. It was produced in significant numbers and remained in service until the end of the war.

Erich Alfred Hartmann, nicknamed 'Bubi' by his comrades and 'The Black Devil' by his Soviet adversaries, was a German fighter pilot during World War II and with 352 victories is the highest-scoring fighter ace in the history of aerial warfare.

Modelled in 1:1 real world scale, all parts are conveniently named and separated, textures and specular maps are 2048x2048 pixels and it has the following key-frame animations already in place:
