Scarabs on Sphere Dirt is a three-dimensional model of dung ball with a dung beetle (dung roller) that is a specimen of beetles that feed on feces (manure, dung, muck, droppings, or ordure), and some species of that has sacred status among the ancient Egyptians, and that can roll dung into round balls.

A dung ball is a round mass of feces formed and rolled by dung beetles, with dung rollers being a notable example. These beetles roll the balls to store food or to lay eggs inside. Their actions are vital in waste breakdown and in returning nutrients to the soil, helping maintain ecological balance and improving soil quality.
