PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a High Definition 3D model of the LOX (Liquid Oxygen) storage tank and facilities used to fill the Saturn Apollo launch vehicle. Located to the northwest end of launch complex 39A, it contains the cryogenic fuel tank and spherical stairway, an associated vaporiser, assorted pumps and piping.

Although specifically built as a part of LC39A, this model could serve as a general storage facility for various other industrial installations or military rocket/missile launch platforms.

The model contains 24 material textures and 16 texture maps.

Created with Lightwave 9.6

Model has been researched and built using online reference materials (photographs, maps, drawings and videos) to make it as detailed and authentic as possible.

Suitable for HD video, high-res film close-ups and print
Accurate representation of Apollo era LOX Storage Facilities using original imperial scale of feet and inches.

TEXTURES
For the LWO model both XYZ Projection and UV mapped versions are included:
16 texture maps scaled at 36 pixels per foot (PNG format - original XYZ projection mapped LWO model)
1 UV texture map (PNG format bump - UV mapped LWO and non-native FBX and OBJ formats).
