You can easily make the parts into a whole bij selecting them and press join.
If you want to join compartment and roof compartment. Select roof compartment first.
(because of the Array modifier)

To see and to adjust more or less compartments go to Array (on the right below add modifier) and klik on the eye and adjust the count .
You have to do that with compartment and roof compartment.
