This is for a fully UVed, textured, and rigged planetary orrery display model of our Solar System. Planets spin around the Sun at correct relative speeds (sped up to be visible to the naked eye). Engraved on the sides are the 12 astrological symbols. All moving parts (gears, planets, etc.) are rigged to a central control curve animatable in Blender. Also included is an FBX format with baked animation for easy immediate usage in scenes. Model is mid to high poly but can be used in high performance game engines.

Included in this directory are:

• the non-animated model in OBJ, FBX, and STL format. Note that in these formats, any control curves included are not active.
• A pre-animated version in FBX format OrreryAnimated.fbx. This has a baked animation lasting 1000 frames, and is meant for easy use as a ready asset in animated scenes.
• The OrreryRigged.blend model is the native Blender file containing the Orrery model with all active constraints and drivers. All gears and planets are linked to and animated by a control curve, which can be animated with regular keyframes.

Lastly, included are four texture sets:

• BaseTextures, which is for the Base object
• Gearbox, which is for the GearBox object
• FrameTextures, which is for the Frame object
• PlanetsAndGears, which is for all other objects (all planets, gears, and the EarthAndMoonFrame object)
