A highly detail and dimension accurate 3d model of Logitech G25 racing steering wheel. I created the model by looking at the real object on hand.

The racing wheel is an excellent USB steering wheel for PC, PS2 & PS3 which is a must have for playing racing game like Dirt 2 & 3, Need for speed and GT5. It gives real drive feeling and shock feedback which game pad cannot provide.

Model created in 3ds Max 2010 (native)
Images rendered in Vray 1.5 with subdivid 2.

File format provided : max, 3ds and obj
Material included : Standard material and VRay material. They are packed into two separately zip files.

Plugin : VRay is required to open the file with VRay material

Lighting and background : Not included. The images were rendered with simple background and multiple lights.

UVW mapping was used on all components except the wheel with leather texture.

Unwrap UVW was used for the leather texture of the wheel.

Steering wheel and the base was grouped separately. The wheel can be rotated by Autokey (max only).
The wheel components were aligned at the rotation axis, no off-center occur during rotation.
