TurboSquid may add tax to your purchase at checkout. Whether tax is applied depends on the country, state, or jurisdiction where you reside.
How Tax Is Applied
When you’re ready to complete your purchase and have entered your payment information in the cart—either through the quick cart or full cart option—you will see any applicable tax displayed at the bottom of your cart, next to the order total.
Adding Your VAT/GST Number for Future Purchases
If you’re not ready to make a purchase right now but would like to save your VAT or GST number for later use, you can do so easily:
Go to the Account dropdown menu.
Select My Account.
Under the Member Information section, add your VAT/GST number.
Click Update VAT/GST.
Before placing an order, please double-check your cart to ensure your VAT/GST number has been correctly applied and is valid.
Tax-Exempt Purchasers Outside the United States
If your company is tax-exempt and located outside the U.S., you will see a prompt on the left side of your cart (across from the cart total) asking, “Do you have a VAT/GST number?”
Enter your valid VAT/GST number here, and your cart will update to show $0 tax. If you experience any issues applying your VAT/GST number, please contact our support team for assistance.
Tax-Exempt Purchasers in the United States
If your company is tax-exempt and based in the U.S., please contact our support team to validate your tax ID for your purchase.
Please note that if you qualify for a tax refund, you will need to file for it through your local tax authorities, as TurboSquid currently cannot issue refunds for taxes paid.
