The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was the largest, heaviest, and most expensive fighter aircraft in history to be powered by a single piston engine. It was heavily armed with eight .50 cal machine guns, four per wing. The P-47D was the most popular version with 12,602 built. The "D" model actually consisted of a series of evolving production blocks, the last of which were visibly different from the first.
The model is in the colors of Lt Col Francis Gabreski, leading ace of the 8th Air Force in Europe, early 1944.

Modelled in 1:1 real world scale, all parts are conveniently named and separated, textures and specular maps are 2048x2048 pixels and it has the following key-frame animations already in place:
Landing gears
Cowling Flaps
Vents
Canopy

Original format is 3ds max 9, obj generated by Deep Exploration. You might need to re-apply the textures depending on the software used.
