Collection of three detailed movie reels, each with a unique contemporary reel design. The film celluloid is included. The three designs are:
1) Modern standard design
2) Yin-Yang edition for something avant garde or with an asian flavor.

All of the edges and holes in the reel plates are nicely beveled - great for close-ups. The coiled reel even has a swirl texture on its edge.

In the Max version the path of the film strip as it leaves the reel can be edited and animated (if you wish to change the way the film leaves the reel in another 3D application, you can create your own strip as it leaves the coil and apply the included film texture.) The strip can also be deleted without removing the center coil.

As an alternative to the included bitmap textures you can use the Symbiont procedural textures. You will need to check that your 3D application supports the FREE Symbiont plugin (darksim). It"s a very cool tool and you can"t beat the price! The only reason you might want to use the procedural Symbiont filmstrip texture is that it can be animated to display your own images moving in the film cells.
