The louse is a small, wingless insect that lives as an ectoparasite on mammals. It clings to its host's hair with strong claws, feeding on blood. This louse goes through three life stages: egg (nit), nymph, and adult. The eggs are glued to the host’s hair and hatch into nymphs, which mature into adults. Infestations by SSS lice can cause discomfort, skin irritation, and sometimes disease transmission.
