Tiktaalik Rigged for Maya is a 3d model of an extinct genus of lobe-finned fish (sarcopterygian) that lived approximately 375 million years ago during the Late Devonian period.

It is notable for its transitional features between fish and early tetrapods (four-limbed vertebrates). Tiktaalik had a flat skull, a flexible neck, and robust fins with bone structures resembling limbs, which suggest adaptations for moving in shallow water and potentially on land. This makes Tiktaalik a key fossil in understanding the evolutionary transition from aquatic to terrestrial life.
