Robosphere – spherical robot with four legs, camera and speaker.
(you can use the speaker hole for some other device)

The files are identical for MAYA 8.5 and 3D MAX 9. They include:

Poligonal Robosphere

Rig – handy skeleton with attributes/sliders for camera/speaker covers. There are two videos where you can see how the rig works and a simple animation.

Mental ray materials

UV mapping – if you want to use a texture (you may need to rearrange the maps to fit your texture)
