Bronze model

The Chambers of Andrey Goryay or Tsarevich Dmitry are the palace of the Uglich appanage princes, built in the 1480s by Prince Andrey Vasilyevich within the Uglich Kremlin on the banks of the Volga River. Of the extensive wooden palace, only the ceremonial throne chamber, constructed of oversized bricks, has survived. It is the oldest building in Uglich and one of the earliest examples of residential (civil) architecture in Russia. Today, the building houses an exhibition of the Uglich State Museum.
