The NHIndustries NH90 is a medium sized, twin-engine, multi-role military helicopter manufactured by NHIndustries. The first prototype had its maiden flight in December 1995. It has been ordered by 16 nations, and deliveries began in 2006

ABOUT THE MODEL: This 3D model represents the NH90 MRH (Multi Role Helicopter) which is currently in operation for the Italian Army.

This model is well detailed, both exterior and interior. Several animations have been added such as the landing gear, the cockpit, cabin and cargo doors. Aswell as the folding tail section which makes this helicopter usefull on small frigate deck hangars. Various antenna"s, radars and probes are added, aswell as windshield wipers to give the model extra 3D geometery. In the cockpit you will find detailed cockpit seats. The pedestal and main instrument panels are bitmaped with a texture. In the cabin you will find 13 jumpseats, but you can add more if you like. The main and tail rotors are modelled as close as possible to the real "thing". They consists out of seperate parts for animation purposes. The landing gear has been modelled in detail and has been animated in 2 situation from frame 0 to 80 the landing gear deploys. From frame 80 to 81 the landing gear suspends into the ground/rest position. The model has been scaled to real world size. And has been textured with high resolution textures. Overall this model is highly detailed. Very useable and complete for every purpose. This model is truly amazing, just have a look at the bigger preview images to have a closser look.
