Hippie Volkswagen Bus is a three-dimensional model of forward control (flat nose or cab over engine) light commercial vehicle introduced in 1950 by the German automaker Volkswagen.


The Volkswagen Type 2, commonly referred to as the VW Bus or Microbus, debuted in 1950 and became an emblematic commercial vehicle. Built on the success of the VW Beetle, it featured a distinctive boxy shape, rear-mounted air-cooled engine, and spacious interior. Known for its versatility, the Type 2 was used for various purposes, from a camper van to a cargo transporter. Its association with the 1960s counterculture and enduring design make it a beloved automotive classic.
