Description

The photoreal triceratops and its museum-style skeleton in one pack, remastered 2026 edition: the living animal (8 m long, 3.3 m tall, original 68-bone rig) and its fossil (8 m long, 2.4 m tall) side by side.

What's new in this edition:
- PBR metal/rough textures: the triceratops 4K body set with a normal map built from the original sculpted bump, plus horn maps (2048) and an eye texture; the skeleton one 4K non-overlapping bone atlas.
- Both models in one Blender and one 3ds Max scene, plus every model in its own files.
- Real-world scale, feet on the ground, centred pivot and consistent object and material names.
- Native Blender scene with a render-ready studio (camera + CC0 HDRI), plus a 3ds Max 2022 scene with Physical Materials.

Geometry: subdivision-ready control cages (triceratops 9,512 polygons with horns, beak, frill spikes, 16 claws, eyes and tongue; skeleton 26,837 polygons, 75 bone pieces) with Subdivision Surface in Blender and TurboSmooth in 3ds Max.

Rig: the triceratops keeps its original 68 bones with skin weights in Blender, 3ds Max, FBX and glTF, delivered in its bind pose; the skeleton is static.

Also available separately: Triceratops, and Triceratops Skeleton.

Formats: Blender 3.2+ (native), 3ds Max 2022+, FBX 7.4 (rigged), glTF 2.0 binary (textures embedded), OBJ and USD (UsdPreviewSurface). Maya and Cinema 4D users: import the included FBX (rig) or USD.

All renders shown were made in Blender Cycles with the included files; no post-processing.
