History:

The Sikorsky S-92 is a medium lift helicopter built for civilian and military purposes. It was based on the Sikorsky S-70 helicopter. The S-92 was primariliy developed to get crews to oil and gas areas offshore among other reasons. The maiden fight of the S-92 occured in December 1998 and as of 2015 300 have been built.
