Description

This 10 ft ISO container (1D) is the short member of the dry freight family, often placed on building sites and farms as a lockable store.

Size: length 2,991 mm (9 ft 9 3/4 in), width 2,438 mm (8 ft 0 in), height 2,591 mm (8 ft 6 in). Size-type code 12G1, ISO 668 designation 1D.

Polygons (quads and triangles, markings included):
- high detail: 216,871 polygons / 217,860 vertices
- mid detail: 38,663 polygons / 39,496 vertices

Both levels share one UV layout and one set of textures.

Formats, one archive each: BLEND, FBX, OBJ, USD, GLB, USDZ, 3DS, STEP and 3DM.

Animated doors in BLEND, FBX, USD, GLB and USDZ, each with a closed and an open model.

OBJ and 3DS: static, doors shut and doors open.

STEP and 3DM: solid CAD geometry, closed container, no materials.

Baked PBR textures (PNG, up to 4096 px) in a separate archive. Paints: red oxide, forest green, maroon, ocean blue, off white, sand beige, signal orange and slate grey, each clean and weathered (16 looks). Default: red oxide, clean.

GLB, USDZ and 3DS: default look only, maps up to 2048 px.

The markings are 3 separate objects: hide them for a plain container.

Door animation 'doors_open_close': 7 seconds at 30 fps, right door first, ends closed. Only the two door hinges move; locking bars and handles are fixed.

Native Blender file: Cycles, centimetres, real size, base on the ground, no plugins.

Notes:

- No lights or camera are saved; add your own before rendering.
- Extract the model and textures archives to one folder so the maps resolve.
- OBJ: import the AO, normal, metallic and roughness maps as Non-Color data, or the paint looks glossy.
- Normal maps are OpenGL (green up); invert green for DirectX.
- 3DS cannot hold PBR materials, so its paint looks lighter.
- The plates are reflective metal: lit from the side, their lettering becomes readable.
- The owner code is fictional and belongs to no company.
- The stencil wear is deliberate; for crisp, clean lettering use the blank markings maps and the decal template.

More sizes: 20 ft, 40 ft, 40 ft high cube and 45 ft high cube shipping containers, and a bundle with all 5 sizes.
