Retrobot Graffiti Version - Technology and Business Mascot - App and Game Ready

Meet the Retrobot, a character created to be a brand mascot for tech companies.

Technology Mascot

This character is fairly low poly, created for game and app integration. He is completely rigged with lots of animations, mostly emotes and idle loops. His rig is simple so that you can easily create more animations for your own needs.

This new version of the character was created primarily for use in Unity 3d, making the character easily compatible with apps and interactive software, and especially games.

Made for Communication and Interaction

Please note the round areas on the chest and head. These are meant for icons and logos to be placed on via your own methods (either a transparent object, or a material effect you implement).

Brief History of the Character

The original character "Blueberry Bot" was brought here to Turbosquid back in Oct 8, 2011 , which now makes him quite old. He is still in my portfolio on this site if you wish to compare. Since technology has progressed quite a bit over the years, I found it necessary to update the character with realistic textures and an HDRI scene. See the previews to judge the realism achieved by the combination of high detail texture maps (created in Substance Painter) and HDRI map. This character also comes in multiple skins / versions. Software Used

When recreating the character, he was first developed in Zbrush, retopologized in Blender, then textured in Substance (and at this time there are 7 skins / versions available in my portfolio).

Quality

The original Blender 3d scene is set up for a realistic render out of the box. The attached FBX file and materials provide you with what is necessary to set up the character in your own 3d software, complete with animations.
