Description

Realistic 3D model of a generic old medieval book (incunable). Size: 29 × 40 × 6 cm.
The model is rigged and you can:
- open book cover;
- open & close buckles;
- flip & bend two leaves (5 pages in total) *.

* Please, keep in mind that "leaves" are not "pages". Leaf is a sheet of paper which has 2 pages on each side. You can flip only 2 leaves. And you have 5 pages to apply texture to.

The product contains 8K PBR textures, including multilayered Photoshop files in which you can easily change the book cover ornament and text.
The low poly model is available and ready for subdivision.

To change the text or ornament:
1. open emboss.psb file in Photoshop and make your edits;
2. save emboss.psb;
3. open all .psd files with "incunable-outer" prefix;
4. click right mouse button on the emboss layer (in each of the PSD files);
5. click "Update Modified Content";
6. export images as JPG.

There is also a C4D scene prepared for Octane renderer with native Octane textures.

The model was initially created in Cinema 4D. And the rig works only in C4D files.
Other exchange formats contain a static model in two states: opened & closed.
