Description

** Animation was developed in conjunction with review and refinement by a PhD Biochemist, to provide a more factual representation. **

Mitochondria generate most of the energy needed for the cell. The amount of mitochondrion in a cell ranges drastically between different types of cells.

This 3D max file shows a transparent mitochondrion with a cutaway of the insides. It is perfect for illustrating the role of the mitochondria. It also includes small animated particles that represent ATP being generated by the matrix. The transparent shell can also be darkened and the mitochondria would be a good prop to scatter around the background of cell related scenes. Uses default 3DS scanline renderer, for maximum compatibility.

Includes 2 JPG texture maps.
