Marcel Breuer Folding Chair

designed by Marcel Breuer

Original Bauhaus" Re-editions by TECTA are produced in Germany under license, exactly to the original designer"s specification. Authorized by the BAUHAUS ARCHIVES, Berlin/Germany, TECTA"s licensed re-edition pieces each carry the BAUHAUS signet , which is based on the original BAUHAUS logo, designed by Oskar Schlemmer in 1922. (see image).
Quote from a letter of Bauhaus Designer Marcel Breuer: "The surfacing of this design is like an old, forgotten dream. It was designed and one or two experimental models made, but never manufactured."
