Japanese hyotan: a varnished bottle-gourd sake flask, honey at the top and amber below, with soft lobes and bumps (never lathe-perfect), a lacquered wooden stopper with a gold ring, thread tied at the neck and a twisted red silk cord wound twice round the waist, tied in a butterfly knot with two tasselled ends and a fine cord up to the stopper. Real-world size: 27.7 cm tall.

Modelled with the detail in real geometry:
- PBR metal/rough textures, 4096 x 4096: Base Color, Roughness, Metallic, Normal (OpenGL and DirectX) and Ambient Occlusion: caramel streaks, specks, pores and the blossom scar on the gourd, grain under the stopper lacquer, silk threads on the tassels.
- One non-overlapping UV set, no flipped faces.
- 43,214 polygons, almost all quads; gourd, stopper, cord, knot and tassels as closed parts.
- Real-world scale, standing on the ground, front towards -Y in Blender.
- Static model: no rig, no animation. Original design, created from scratch; no third-party assets.

Formats: Blender 3.2+ (native, with a render-ready studio: camera + CC0 HDRI), 3ds Max 2022+ (Physical Material with metalness map), FBX, glTF 2.0 binary (textures embedded), OBJ and USD (UsdPreviewSurface). Maya and Cinema 4D users: import the included FBX or USD.
