Description

This high poly model is build very near to scale and is within a couple of percent of the actual dimensions. It has a detailed exterior including radio antennas and pitot tubes. Landing gear have been finished with a moderate amount of detail too. The model is fully textured and comes with all hi res materials and textures. In addition this model comes with animateable ailerons, split flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors and propeller. This model comes with a semi detailed cockpit and a very detail engine. The model is also available in several formats ready for your immediate downloading after purchase. Many liveries are also available to you also.

The Grumman F4F-3 Wildcat was a carrier or land based fighter and attack aircraft used by the United States Navy and Marines, Royal Navy and Marines, Royal Canadian Navy and others during the earlier stages of WWII. It was a rugged airplane and able to withstand a lot of hits and rough treatment. It could dive straight down without exceeding its maximum dive speed. It was capable of a top speed of 318 mph and was exceptionally maneuverable. The Wildcat was used in advanced fighter training for the Navy and Marines from 1943 until was retired in 1945. Wildcats destroyed 1327 enemy aircraft during the war with a loss of 178 Wildcats.
