Description

The Douglas TA-4M Skyhawk was the last of the line of the
two seat version of the small carrier borne jet ground attack fighters
developed by Douglas Aircraft beginning with the A-4A Skyhawk in 1954. These aircraft were designed as ground attack
aircraft and saw combat in Vietnam, 6 day war, Persian Gulf War, and other
conflicts. These were the smallest
aircraft designed to carry a nuclear bomb. They were in service until 2003 with the US Navy and in the 2010s with
other countries.

The model was built near to scale in real units and built
based on drawings, photos, and other documents. This model has a moderately
detailed cockpit and the following animateable features; ailerons, flaps,
elevators, rudder, landing gear, canopy and landing gear doors. These models
render very well and look very realistic using good animation, lighting and
rendering technique. It can be used in an animated or static
position within a scene, animation or animated video, or possibly programming
for a flight simulation application.

This model was not designed for 3d printing, these are to be used as digital
files only. If you purchase one for
digital printing we do not guarantee that your print will be successful.

Exporting of models is limited but good for several software
applications. This model is fully
textured with all materials UVW mapped and applied. Most materials are planar
mapped and major materials include texturing. All textures and materials are included as shown. Objects are logically
named for ease of scene management. No cleaning up necessary, just drop your
models into the scene and start rendering. No special plug-ins are needed to
open scene.

In most cases the liveries are based on actual service
liveries or paint schemes. Many of the units,
airlines or countries who flew the plane are represented here.
