Description

The Douglas DC-10 is a wide body airliner powered by three jet engines.
It was designed and built by Douglas and later McDonnell Douglas. This aircraft
was an efficient aircraft and soughtafter by the airlines until a crash in the early
1980s. The media initially blamed the aircraft design incorrectly and
although the investigation proved that the cause was faulty maintenance, the
cancelled sales of the aircraft never rebounded and production was slowed to a crawl.

This aircraft has now been in service for nearly 35 years and has a proven track record of
efficiency and safety. It is still in service today as a passenger and freight carrier with
many airlines and freight carriers all over the world.

This model was built near to scale and includes animatable turbines, landing
gear and doors, and control surfaces. It comes with all materials and textures and
is fully textured.
