Description

A fully rigged Cowboy Model. Model can be used for game or film. Includes default 3ds Max Mental Ray render setup.

This model was setup in 3ds Max fully compatible with 3ds Max 2010 and up. For older versions of 3ds Max and other 3d programs an FBX model is included.

Character is rigged using 3ds Max character Studio Biped.

Cowboy Hat is removable, Cowboy gun is removable.

Model contains several poses and a constraint setup to move the gun from hand to holster or vice versa in a few clicks (3ds Max only).

Includes textures of normal maps and diffuse maps.
Includes lighting setup for Mental Ray renderer (3ds Max 2010 and up only).

Incudes Metal ray material setup and Game Engine material setup files.

All maps texture maps are 2048x2048. Textures can be edited with imaging program. Texture format is Photoshop (.psd) which can be opened and edited with a free paint program like GIMP.

This model is suitable for close up renders or for video game engines. Optionally you can quickly create a high res version by applying a 3ds Max MeshSmooth modifier to each mesh part. The results will give you a smoother model. Note all images above are the low res version.

Layers have been setup for easy parts selection and hiding. Objects are named so you can read them easily.

The scene is already setup, just hit render (3ds Max 2010 and up only, other 3d programs may require lighting setup or adjustments). No plugins needed for 3ds Max 2010 and above.

The character’s polycount is 8639 polygons, 8001 vertices (including gun), and suitable video game characters.

100% compatible with Unity game engine.

Instructions included on how to change poses and gun positions (3ds Max 2010 and up). This model is 100% animation ready so you can create your own animations and poses.

Enjoy!
