Description

The Water bear consists of 13 separate objects. This includes 6 tendrils, 6 separate teeth, and the tardigrade itself.

All objects are subdivision ready.

The water bear is UV unwrapped and contains two texture maps. These maps include a color map and bump map. Both maps are 3000 x 3000 pixels.

There are two formats available blend and obj. Both formats are in separate zip files. Each zip has it"s respective format and the texture maps. When importing the obj it may be necessary to reload one or both textures, depending on your program.

In the blend file the object is ready to render and contains a half icosphere with a parented lamp instanced from the vertices, as part of the lighting setup. It is located on the second layer.

A Minnaert shader is applied in the blend file as seen in the above images. A simple blue material is applied for the tendrils, and white material for the teeth.

A preview is available. It is an interactive flash turntable. Simply use your cursor to move it.
