This is a model of a Virginia-Class submarine complete with it's command room, enterable via the mast. The torpedo hatches, entrance doors, and vertical launch hatches have all been rigged for animation.

The control room follows closely the actual layout and floorplans of the room in real life. All consoles and systems follow closely their positioning within the room in the manner they are positioned on a real Virginia-Class submarine. Includes: an AN/BYG-1 Sonar / Combat Console, Command & Control Dual Screen, Eight-Screen Ship Navigation & Steering Console, Horizontal Plotting Map Display Console (or ECDIS console), Very Large Vertical Plotting Display (or VLSD), Small Navigational Data Displays, Remaining Missile Counters, & Numerous Other Components, including pipes, electrical boxes, wiring, ventilation ducts, seating, data server enclosures, fire extinguishers, medical boxes, floors, ceiling, walls, doorways, ceiling lights, naval clocks, clinometers, medical & fire hose boxes, textures, & materials.
All consoles are detailed and faithful replications of each console within the command room, down to small details such as the exact display screen models used.
