The model of a balance scale consists of a base, pans, chains, a beam, an upper attachment with a hole for a shaft, and the shaft itself; as a decorative element, I added stylized wings to the top. For some of these components, a first-level subdivision was applied, while for simpler parts, smooth shading was sufficient. To ensure the model isn't monochromatic and the individual elements stand out, I assigned a silver material—with a subtle bluish tint—to the beam, chains, and shaft. The model includes color, normal, and metallic maps that simulate minor scratches and scuffs on the metal surface; combined with the slight, organic waviness of the larger components, this creates a more realistic appearance.
