DESCRIPTION

Anatomically correct respiratory system, rigged and animated with sound, both exterior and interior.

Each pulmonary artery goes from the heart to a cluster of alveoli and then back as pulmonary veins.

MODEL

• everything is manually modeled to achieve flawless topology
• uniform quads across all surfaces for ideal displacement quality
• all UVs are manually mapped for minimal distortion and shell numbers
• quads only, no tris, no Ngons

RIG

• root Ctrl for the master scene placement
• 8 Ctrls for the heartbeat animation
• muscle contractions are rigged with joints
• valves contractions are blendshapes

ANIMATION

• scene is 24 fps
• heartbeat is from frame 1 to 36 and loops infinitely
• 8 blood cells are animated to go through ventricles and valves
• the sound file beat.wav is included and animated in sync with S1 and S2 contractions

SCENE

• file size is 64 MB
• the model is 30 Maya units (cm) tall
• objects are grouped and at the origin
• scene renders like preview images
• all objects and shaders are named
• all textures are pathed to \sourceimages\...
• no third-party plug-ins used
