Description

A low polygon spider-creature. Fully rigged and animated. Optimized for real-time applications and game engines. Textures and the .max file are in the ZIP file.

Spider was modelled in Autodesk 3ds Max 9, and skinned using the Physique modifier. WARNING: previous versions of 3ds Max wont open this file! It uses standard meshes in hierarchy as skeleton, and Inverse Kinematics controllers as a method to do lifelike leg movements.

Texture is 1024*1024 TGA with an alpha channel; i also packed a diffuse and an opacity texture in BMP formats, from these you can rebuild the texture in any format you want. A separate picture showing the UV layout of the spider is also in the pack.

Concept art is also freely downloadable, you can use it as a loading screen, background image, or anything else you can imagine.
