Description

Bolt assembly modeled in Carrara 4.0 and provided in .car, .3ds, and .obj formats. Model includes bolts, nut, and washers, all modeled as individual objects. Use the entire assembly, or just the bolt heads as shown. The threads are modeled not as a true helix, but rather as a series of repeated revolutions. This design allows thread segments to easily be added or removed to change the bolt length and/or thread length. This is illustrated in an above render. All three bolt types were created in just seconds from a single master. An infinite number of variations is possible.
