High definition model of the proposed CVF Royal Navy future aircraft carrier.
The design is still being developed and this 3D model is based on recent released images.
Very clean 3D scene with high resolution bitmap textures (eg The deck texture is 4096x1024 pixels). The shaders are setup with decent shading networks.
Please note that the original scene file is the Maya version, and should be used first wherever possible. All other versions are conversions and will not have the same quality of shaders and scene hierachy. The obj format will not retain shader properties.
The scene includes:
CVF Aircraft carrier,
JSF aircraft fleet,
Local sea model with static modelled wave undulations.
Hi-res bitmap texture files.
Carrier > 27998 polygons
JSF (single) > 291 polygons
Sea > 85479 polygons
Carrier+JSF fleet > 32343 polys
The two proposed 'Queen Elizabeth' Class carriers are due to be delivered to the Royal Navy in 2014-2016. They will be designated the 'HMS Queen Elizabeth' and 'HMS Prince of Wales'. The french are collaborating in the design of the hull with a view to building the new aircraft carrier, 'le Richlieu' or PA2/CVF[F].
CVF proposed specifications:
Displacement = 65,000t
Max speed = 25kt
Crew = 1200, inc.600 airmen.
Contact ProtoCG if other 3D formats are required.
