- UPDATED October 07 2020 to v2.0. Many bugs fixed, speed improvements, functional improvements. Street lanes can be generated without intersections.
- Houdini Procedural City Roads Generator. This Toolset contains a several Assets which generates city streets just from curves!
- Watch the video in preview to better understanding how it works.
- Generation of any number roads intersection. But good results can be achieved for not more than intersection of 5 roads! Generates fine road intersections T-type and cross intersections.
- Group road curves according to a number of lanes, from 2 to 6 lanes. Asset will generate a fine intersections of roads with different width.
- Generates parkings, sidewalks, grass lawns, borders, traffic lights, streetlights and advertisement citylights.
- Traffic lights generated according to road width, and with all traffic signs. Also generator places roads signs according to main or secondary road, and traffic lighs with red or green lights, so it's possible to load animated texture to emitate traffic lights switching.
- Sometimes bugs happens with generation of parkings when road intersection has very sharp corner. Also place roads intersection at a distance from each other, result may be unexpected if road intersections are too close and layered on top of each other.
- Generates correct UVs for all geometry!
- All textures of roads and props included. JPEG, PNG. 1024x1024 and 2048x2048.
- Asset made in Houdini 17.5, all assets, props, textures are placed relatively to houdini HIP file.
- Houdini Game Development Tools must be installed. It's a set of additional nodes which is used in this City Roads Generator. Installation is quick and free, just google how to install it.
- Real world scale. Units of measure: meter. 1 Unit = 1 Meter.
- No 3rd party plugin needed.
