What Can I Expect?
  • Timeframe: Conversions are completed, on average, within 72 hours of the request. Please note that support resources are limited on weekends and holidays. Wait times during these periods may be longer.
  • Topology: Topology may be triangulated and not quad-based.
  • Materials: Materials many not exactly match renders from the previews, and you may need to re-apply textures in your application.
  • Rigging/animation: Rigging and animations will not be preserved in the converted file.
  • Collections: Collections of models are not eligible for conversion.
  • 3d printing: The majority of our models are intended for use in visualization projects and are not created with 3d printing in mind. A conversion for printable content may not be possible.

  • Complex materials or procedural textures may not convert.
  • Textures and/or materials may need to be re-linked or recreated.
  • Collapsed modifiers may increase the polycount/size of the conversion.
  • Some modifiers may not convert.
  • Lights, cameras, and render setup may not convert.
  • Emitters, particle effects, and simulations will not convert.
  • Poser: Conversions to Poser generally import as a single solid object.

  • Geometry may be faceted.

  • Element 3D: If the original file does not have pre-set materials, textures or materials will not be applied to the 3D objects in Element 3D. However, material nodes may be available that will allow you to re-apply those materials and textures.
  • Photoshop: We cannot provide 2d images for use in Photoshop or other photo editing applications. If you are looking for 2d images, you may want to visit our 2d stock object site, PixelSquid.
  • Photoshop: We can convert some models for Photoshop versions CS3 and above, but results can vary greatly.
