Description

Highly detailed model of a sci-fi engine inspired by a mix of a V12 design and a jet engine.

Orignal concept.

The model is modelled in Maya 2016 but the renders are done in Blender Cycles (2.83.3 LTS)

The whole model is one (01) object with one (01) material so it's fairly optimized for game engines as well.

All Textures are 8k (8192x8192) easily scaleable for performance, including:
Pack 1: (Main textures)
- Color map
- Roughness map
- Metallic map
- Normal map
- Emission map (can be turned on or off to add the lights and the heat glow effect)
- Opacity map (used for the grid on the exhaust)

Pack 2 (Dust/Sand variant)
- Color map
- Roughness map
- Metalic map

You can replace the 3 maps in the second pack with the first 3 maps of the first one to get a dusty/dirty look, or lerp between the two materials to get that effect gradually.

Geometry is completely made of quads and tris when needed.

The jet engine nozzle is rigged perfectly, the whole nozzle is controlled by a single well-constrained helper.

Thanks for taking a look, If you need help using the model don't hesitate to contact :)
